These are all owned by a guy I can only assume is awesome. Yes that is an old fire station that is now his house/garage. There’s also a huge pole shed next to it. I wanted to buy it when it came on up for sale, but we weren’t quite in the market yet. As in that was a year ago and we started house hunting a week ago. What you can’t see is the black and lime green Baja bug in the garage.

My town just built a new fire station last year. Wonder what’s to happen with old one?
If I moved again it be on 10 acres or more. With a proper shop.

That is my goal. I’m hoping that eventually my father in law will move out of his house into town, and he’ll give me a deal on his house with 3 car garage, 50x100 pole shed, and 17 acres.

The only down side would be the 45 mile round trip drive every day. Which is why he isconsidering moving into town, to a smaller house once all his kids move out. In contrast I currently have a 1 mile commute, and my wife’s is about two blocks.
